West brings a unique perspective and fresh thinking to the team. As a member of an engineering family he has known all his life that he wanted to create engineering solutions that are both sound and unique. Growing up in the Lowcountry also shaped his interests in water resources and environmental design, which makes him particularly fit for engineering in Charleston. Both in and out of work, West invests himself in South Carolina’s unique resources and environment. He is an outdoor enthusiast and loves to hunt and fish.

West graduated from Clemson University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Prior to receiving his degree, he worked in the buildings engineering field with where he performed construction inspections, created roof management plans and put together cost estimates and roof drawings for roof replacement projects. Upon graduation, West worked with a South Carolina engineering firm and gained valuable industry experience in many aspects of the water resource, land development and environmental disciplines. West was also a valuable member of the design team that delivered the Boeing Land Development expansion project in North Charleston.

Today at Reveer Group he wears many hats: he has experience in private sector development and is fluent in many computer applications. He is an active member in the American Society for Civil Engineers and is currently pursuing his Professional Engineer license and his LEED Accredited Professional status with the U.S. Green Building Council.

 

West lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Stefanie and his daughter, Ella.
